Doctor Who star thinks a home delivery is perfect way to welcome new baby

Billie Piper is due to give birth in October

Billie Piper is hoping to avoid hospital when she goes into labour and instead have her baby at home.

The Doctor Who actress and husband Laurence Fox, 30, have decided to have a water birth at their £750,000 home in West Sussex.

‘Billie has been saying she doesn’t want all the bright lights of a hospital and thinks a home birth in warm water would be a wonderfully calm way for her baby to come into the world,’ a friend tells the Sunday Express.

Billie, 25, and Laurence married on New Year's Eve 2007 after dating for 6 months. This will be a first child for both of them.
