Kym Marsh loves feeling sexy again

When Kym Marsh split with Jack Ryder, 26, in April, she vowed to focus on her family and career while making the break-up as amicable as possible.

So no one has been more surprised than Kym to find that she’s been swept off her feet with a new man – Hollyoaks' Jamie Lomas – and the pair are inseparable.

up with Kym at the British Soap Awards on 3 May.

‘There was an instant spark between them,’ a friend tells Now. ‘Kym gets butterflies whenever she thinks about Jamie and that was something she really didn’t expect to feel again so soon.’

Jamie, 28, is now spending an increasing amount of time at Kym’s Cheshire home and was top of the guest list for her 32nd birthday at the 235 club in Manchester last month.

‘Kym can’t stop talking about Jamie and when they aren’t together she constantly texts him,’ a friend tells Now. ‘They’re very wrapped up in each other.

'Her birthday was like a new lease of life for her – she felt like her own person. With Jamie, she doesn’t just feel like a mum or dowdy wife any more, but a free spirit. She loves feeling sexy again.’

Kym - mum to David, 12, and Emily, 9 from a previous relationship - has struggled to balance her lust for Jamie with her concern not to upset her ex. Jack’s told Kym he wants her back and won’t welcome the news that she’s totally hooked on a new man.
