Russell T Davies tips the Rehab singer to replace David Tennant
Monday, 7 July 2008
Former Doctor Who head writer Russell T Davies has revealed an unusual choice of Time Lord to take over from David Tennant when he leaves the series.
The TV guru reckons Amy Winehouse, 24, would be 'brilliant' in the role.
David, 36, will appear in the Christmas special and 3 episodes next year before taking time off to appear in a Royal Shakespeare Company production of Hamlet.
It's not known if he'll return when the series comes back to the BBC in 2010.

Must be a typo. She'd make a wonderful darlek
She may well make a good Time Lord. She makes a pretty convincing junkie as it is.
Oh please give me strength... that would be a complete disaster and I found one would stop watching.
