The body of the actress's on-off beau is discovered by a neighbour

Christina Applegate's late boyfriend Lee Grivas was found on 1 July

Christina Applegate’s boyfriend Lee Grivas has been found dead in his Hollywood apartment.

A neighbour came across the 26-year-old's body on 1 July.

Aspiring photographer Lee was pronounced dead at 5.25pm.

An autopsy is yet to be carried out, but reports suggest the death was due to an overdose.

'I am profoundly saddened,' Christina said in a statement to E! News.

'Lee was an incredible human being who was an extremely important
and beautiful part of my life.

'He is missed beyond words. He touched so
many and I feel much sadness for his mother, brother and all of his
family and friends.'

Christina, 36, and Lee had been dating on and off since 2005.
