Naomi Campbell pleads guilty to assaulting police at Heathrow

Supermodel could face up to 6 months in jail

In court: Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell has pleaded guilty to assaulting 2 police officers onboard a plane at Heathrow airport.

The supermodel, 38, was removed from a flight to LA in handcuffs on 3 April, after screaming foul-mouthed abuse at cabin crew.

She flew into a rage on the British Airways flight because one of her bags had gone missing during the luggage fiasco at Terminal 5.

The star pleaded guilty this morning to 2 counts of assaulting a police officer, 1 count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cabin crew.

'She feels what happened was regrettable and she has come to court today to put her side of the story,’ said her spokesman Alan Edwards.

Naomi faces jail for up to 6 months and could be fined £5,000 for each count of assaulting an officer.
