Comedienne apologises for bad language on Loose Women
Wednesday, 18 June 2008
Joan Rivers was booted off ITV’s Loose Women after launching into an expletive-littered rant.
The US comic turned the air blue when asked about her experiences interviewing celebs.
‘You get someone like Russell Crowe and you want to say to the camera that he's a piece of – get ready to bleep this – f***ing s***.’
The controversial star insists she thought her swear words would be edited out.
After the host apologised for her bad language, Joan, 75, was removed from the set during a commercial break.
She has since apologised for the blunder.
‘Yes, I swore and I'm so f***ing sorry,’ she tells People. ‘No one told me the TV show Loose Women was a reality show and that I would be voted off.
'It's funny: off stage, I hardly ever use profanity. My favourite4-letter word is “shop”.’
