Little Britain star and his partner end their relationship

Matt Lucas and Kevin McGee's split is amicable

Matt Lucas and Kevin McGee have broken up - just 18 months after marrying in a civil partnership ceremony.

The Little Britain star, 34, and TV producer Kevin got hitched in December 2006 after a 7-month engagement.

The service took place at a private members' club in London and the pair dressed up as Aladdin and Prince Charming for the reception at Banqueting House in Whitehall.

The couple had been together for more than 4 years.

A statement released on their behalf said the split was 'amicable'.
