The Apprentice star is finding it hard to eliminate candidates
Wednesday, 11 June 2008
Sir Alan Sugar says he's made the right decision to let 4 contestants reach the final of The Apprentice tonight.
Usually, only 2 candidates battle it out in the last episode for the £100k job.
‘It gets difficult for me right at the end to decide who should go through,’ he tells the BBC.
‘When you are stuck on who to get rid of... I just felt I had a task and it was easy to make two teams and really give it a sense of competition and give them all another crack at the whip.'
The final sees Helene Speight, 32, and Alex Wotherspoon, 25, team up against Lee McQueen, 30, and Claire Young, 28, to create a new fragrance for men and deliver a presentation to industry experts.
Both groups will be able to choose 3 previously fired candidates to help them.
The losing team will be sacked immediately and a winner chosen from the successful pair.
The Apprentice final airs on BBC1 at 9pm.
