Trainee barrister recovering in hospital
Wednesday, 4 June 2008
Apprentice loser Nicholas De Lacy Brown won't walk for months after his leg was crushed in a freak accident.
The trainee barrister was injured when a lorry reversed into a wall, which then fell on top of him. He was treated by a medical team who happened to be making a documentary for ITV.
‘He was trapped for several agonising minutes and screaming in pain,’ a source tells The Sun.
‘Things really took a surreal turn when the film crew also jumped out of the ambulance with the paramedics.’
Nicholas has had several operations since the accident on Thursday.
Doctors say the 23-year-old, who is currently recovering in hospital, will be on crutches until October.
He was the 1st to be fired on the current series of Sir Alan Sugar's BBC 1 show The Apprentice.
