Actor wants to help her escape from it all

Johnny Depp won 2 gongs at the MTV Movie Awards

Johnny Depp has offered Lindsay Lohan the chance to use his private island for a short break.

The actor, 44, invited the Mean Girls star to the Caribbean when he bumped into her at the MTV Movie Awards in LA last Sunday.

He reckons Linds, 21, has had a rough time recently and says the island is hers whenever she wants it, reports the Daily Star.

Johnny and his French partner Vanessa Paradis, 35 frequently visit the retreat.
