Pet Shop Boys want to help Amy Winehouse with Bond theme

Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe would like to collaborate with the singer

Amy Winehouse was supposed to be collaborating with Mark Ronson

The Pet Shop Boys have offered to help Amy Winehouse finish writing the theme tune for the new James Bond movie.

The singer was meant to collaborate with Mark Ronson on the track for Quantum Of Solace but they gave up after failing to get the material together.

And now Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe want to join forces with Amy, 24.

‘She’s got a few things to sort out first but we like her very much,’ Neil tells The Sun.

‘Technically she’s a great singer and we’ve got one or two tracks that would really suit her.’

The Pet Shop Boys have worked with Girls Aloud, Sugababes, and Franz Ferdinand in the past.

Quantum Of Solace, starring Daniel Craig as 007, hits cinemas in October.
