Kerry Katona loses 3st in 5 weeks - but still in despair

Not even her dramatic weight loss is keeping husband Mark Croft happy

Kerry Katona is feeling ugly, depressed and neglected

Distraught Kerry Katona is losing weight at a worrying rate after yet more allegations that her husband Mark Croft has been cheating.

Kerry’s been looking svelte since giving birth to son Max last month – the 27-year-old, who now weighs less than 10st, has lost more than 3st in five weeks, but it’s not through a sensible diet plan.

Inside her new slimline figure is a tormented mind – and it’s all because of Mark, who faces yet more cheating allegations.

In March, Samantha Riaz, 29, claimed she’d had a fling with the 37-year-old. Then, 2 weeks ago, Now caught Mark chatting up a mystery brunette in a Liverpool nightclub while Kerry was left at home with their four children.

Kerry’s been driven to despair by her husband's nonstop partying. One close source tells Now: ‘She’s losing weight to keep Mark happy and interested. But the only person he’s interested in is himself.

‘Every time she reads about him cheating she dismisses the girls as slappers, but she knows she’s only kidding herself. Kerry will never leave Mark because she needs to be in a relationship, to feel loved. But he’s making her feel unloved and more depressed than ever.’

To make matters worse, Kerry’s struggling in her custody battle with Brian McFadden, 28, over their two daughters Molly, 6, and Lilly-Sue, 5. According to our insider, seeing Kerry and Mark’s reality show has simply reinforced Brian’s opinion that they’re terrible parents.
