Halle Berry 'not engaged'

Actress bought diamond ring herself

Halle Berry isn’t engaged - despite being spotted with a diamond ring.

The actress was seen wearing the sparkler over the weekend at a charity event in LA, fuelling rumours partner Gabriel Aubry, 32, had proposed.

But insiders say the rumours are false.

‘It's not an engagement ring,’ a source tells People.

‘Halle just saw it and thought it was beautiful so she bought it for herself.’

Halle, 41, gave birth to daughter Nahla on 16 March.

She met Gabriel shortly after finalising her divorce from musician Eric Benét, 41, in 2005.

The star has also been married to former baseball player David Justice, 42.
