Radio DJ announces news live on air

Jo Whiley is to become a mum for the 4th time

Jo Whiley has announced she is pregnant.

It will be the Radio 1 DJ's 4th child with husband Steve Morton.

Jo, 42, broke the news live on her breakfast show this morning.

‘It was very unexpected but it’s very exciting,’ she told listeners. ‘We don’t know the sex. When we were in the doctor's, they asked if we wanted to find out and we had a big argument about it in the middle of the surgery!

‘I'm a baby machine – there's an army of children in our family! Every day is fat day for me at the moment - I can't stop eating food!’

Jo is already mum to India, 16, Jude, 9, and Cassius, 7.
