Albert Square’s Janine Butcher signs £100,000 deal

Charlie Brooks is to reprise her role as bitchy Janine Butcher in EastEnders.
The actress is said to have signed a new £100,000 deal 4 years after leaving the BBC soap.
Charlie, 26, who made a brief appearance last month for on-screen dad Frank’s funeral, will be back in Albert Square in the autumn.
‘I loved coming back for Frank’s funeral,’ she tells The Sun. ‘It gave me a taste for playing Janine again.
'I’m excited to see what Janine will be getting up to now.’
Producer Diederick Santer promises we’ll see a different side to the show's biggest minx when she returns. ‘Rejoining us will give us a chance to understand what makes Janine tick.
‘We can explore what lies beneath the surface of this unique character.’
