Dennis Rodman checks into rehab

Former NBA basketball player and Celeb Big Brother star seeks help after arrest

Dennis Rodman has checked into rehab, just days after being arrested for alleged domestic violence.

The former NBA basketball star was taken into custody last Wednesday, following a dispute with an unnamed woman – thought to be his girlfriend – at a hotel.

The 46-year-old former boyfriend of Madonna appeared on Celebrity Big Brother 4 in 2006 with Pete Burns, Chantelle Houghton, Preston and Michael Barrymore.

His rep has confirmed he's seeking professional help.

'Yes, Dennis checked into an outpatient rehab center in Fort Lauderdale today,' he tells People.

'His life has not been going smoothly for the last few months since his divorce. He has not been able to see his kids. And he has been drinking too much.'

Dennis – who has 2 children with ex Michelle Moyer – was released on £25,000 bail.

He is due to appear in court on 22 May.
