Supermodel shoots softball scenes for hit show

Naomi Campbell discovered she was an aggressive athlete

Naomi Campbell broke a ball in half while filming US show Ugly Betty.

The supermodel joined the show’s cast in LA for her a cameo appearance as a ‘loony who loves to shop and can’t find a man’.

Naomi, 37, dressed in tiny shorts, red tights and baseball cap, found she loved the game and gave it a bit too much gusto.

'I had a crash course and hit the ball so hard it broke in half,’ she tells the Daily Mirror.

'The coach said he’d never seen anyone pick up the game so quickly.’

The episode airs in the US on 22 May.
