Lisa Snowdon adores David Walliams but she never intends to walk down the aisle with the Little Britain star.
The pair briefly dated in 2005, but are now just pals.
'David has made it clear he has feelings for me but we've got to a point where we can just have a platonic relationship,' she explains. 'I'm very honest with him and he has been with me, so there are no games.
'He's an adorable guy. He's so funny and a gentleman and generous and a great person. But romantically? It's not going to happen.
'It's either there or it's not. I do adore him, he's a very special man and he will make somebody a very amazing husband – but it won't be me. I don't know how to say it because I don't want him to read this and be hurt but he knows how I feel.'
Now Lisa, 36, says she doesn't want to get bogged down in a full-on relationship.
'I'm having a man break for a bit, I don't want anything to distract me,' she tells The Sun. 'I'm really ambitious with my work now.
'When you're younger you think being in a relationship is the ultimate – marriage, kids, a house, a dog – but I don't know if it's what I want now.'
