Christina Aguilera reveals pregnancy shock

Singer also spills her baby shower secrets

Christina Aguilera admits her pregnancy came as a surprise.

'I didn't believe it myself when I took the first test,' she says.

'I wasn't expecting it at all, so when the double lines showed up, my jaw dropped and I started shaking and tearing up.'

The 27-year-old singer married Jordan Bratman in 2005 and gave birth to their son Max last month.

'It wasn't like Jordan and I weren't ready, it was just three months earlier than we'd anticipated!' she says.

Christina also reveals that her 30-year-old music executive husband threw her a wild and wacky baby shower – complete with drag queens.

'I'm not your typical mum-to-be or very conservative,' she tells Hello! 'He made it a carnival-esque, fun, adult playland.'
