Danielle Lloyd wins damages over 50 Cent sex claim

Big Brother star gets libel payout from Daily Mirror

Danielle Lloyd has won 'substantial' damages from the Daily Mirror over allegations that she had sex with rapper 50 Cent while she was dating footballer Marcus Bent.

The 23-year-old model sued the paper over the 11 July article headlined 'Fiddy's no diddy, Danielle looking wobbly after a big night in with 50 Cent'.

The tabloid also claimed she had sexually propositioned Take That singer Jason Orange, 37.

'I was devastated by the disgusting lies about my private life,' says the Celebrity Big Brother star and former Miss Great Britain.

'The allegations could not have been more hurtful and the story in which they appeared was unbelievably spiteful and malicious.'

The Daily Mirror has accepted that the allegations were false and issued a formal apology and substantial damages to the star.

Although Danielle refused to disclose the size of the payout, it is thought to be a six figure sum.
