Ex-EastEnders star Dean Gaffney escaped a driving ban yesterday – despite speeding at almost 100mph while on his mobile.
The 29-year-old – who played Robbie Jackson in the BBC soap – was caught racing up a 50mph roadworks zone on the M25 in Surrey at a staggering 98mph.
And dopey Dean was also driving without insurance, reports the Sun.
While new laws mean such an offence can result in a driving ban or a 2-year jail sentence, Dean escaped with a fine for £115 and picked up 3 points on his licence.
He was not at the hearing at Guildford court.
