Hubby Phil Vickery thinks she's so sexy

Fern Britton has streamlined from a size 22 to an 18 without ditching any of her sexy curves or starving herself. The 50-year-old lost 4st by cycling – which she discovered a love for while on a gruelling 250-mile charity ride.
Her husband, chef Phil Vickery, 46, says: 'Fern's lost a lot of weight by cycling, walking the dog and not eating too much.'
Phil was furious when newspaper columnists mocked pictures of Fern on the beach in 2005. 'I couldn't understand the fuss,' he says.
'I looked at those photos and thought: "Cor! She's really sexy!" People come up in the street and tell me I'm a lucky sod – and they're right.'

Well done to fern, she is defintley an inspiration to all women out there that want to loose weight sensibly, How people can assume that she has either had liposuction or a gastic by pass is ridiculous, you go girl think you are simply wonderful.

What is all the fuss about? If Fern is happy then what has it got to do with anyone else? I have 2 friends who have had this surgery and their lives are so much better, healthier and happier for it that i say fair play to them. It is NOT an "easy" option as some people would assume and it is not a magical cure either but with determination and willpower this can be a really positive choice to make. What right do other people have to sit in judgement? NONE is my answer!!!
Leave Fern ALONE she only lost weight, she has not stopped doctor's from finding a cure for serious illness. How many of you have cycled, many hundred's of miles for womens charities, none i suspect, she did it for health, so how can she be critisized. Now magazine is the worst,women should stand by each other, not rip each other apart.
