Andrew Lloyd Webber: Mobile phones and email are dangerous

He says they're too easy to hack

Andrew Lloyd Weber

Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber is still living in the past – he refuses to use mobile phones.

The musical king, 59, is worried that they can be hacked into.

And he insists on writing by hand instead of using a computer.

‘I don't have a mobile or email,’ he tells the Daily Mirror. ‘They are dangerous and leaky.

‘Stephen Fry told me with email you're writing to anyone who wants to hack in. Or a private detective can hack into your calls for the last five years.

‘There's a fantastic invention, you can speak to anyone - a telephone.’

Lord Webber reveals he was turned off using the internet after a bad experience.

‘I typed in Bombay Dreams and got nine porn sites. Outrageous!’ he says.

Hmm.
