Leona Lewis is bleedin' ready to rock the charts

X Factor star has new single

After months out of the limelight, X Factor winner Leona Lewis is all set to become a superstar.

The X Factor winner, 22, has been busy in a recording studio in LA and mentor Simon, 47, has tipped her to be a huge success this autumn.

Leona's single Bleeding Love is released on 29 October and her album is due out in November.

Simon - who discovered the singer - is confident that he has found an international star.

‘In my opinion [she’s] as good as early Mariah or Whitney Houston,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.

‘She will come back on the first live show [of The X Factor] with her new song and it is, honest to God, incredible.’

Yeah, but didn't he say something similar about Shayne Ward?
