Brian Belo lands part in Hollyoaks

Big Brother winner to appear in show later this month

Brian Belo has landed his dream job – a walk on part in Hollyoaks.

The Big Brother winner, who has always said the Liverpool soap is his favourite TV series, is set to appear on the C4 show later this month.

‘When I landed the role on Hollyoaks, I was so excited I couldn't sleep,’ he says.

‘The day ranked as one of the top three days of my life. Number one was winning BB and number two was going out with Amanda, of course.’

And the Essex lad even met his soap idol Jennifer Metcalfe – who plays loud-mouth Mercedes McQueen.

‘Jennifer was really lovely, just as I'd dreamed,’ he tells Digital Spy.

‘When she said I could sit on her bed in the McQueens' house, I was like, game on!’

Brian, 20, will appear in the Channel 4 soap at 6.30pm on the 20 November – and viewers can see him in a scene at Il Gnosh alongside restaurant owner Tony Hutchinson.

Can't wait!
