Billie Piper puts wedding on hold

Friends warn her not to rush into marriage with Laurence Fox

Billie Piper has put her wedding to Laurence Fox on hold.

The 24-year-old was rumoured to be about to tie the knot for the second time – but pals are urging her not to rush into marriage again.

'It is not a question of Billie doubting her feelings for Laurence - they are head over heels in love,' a source says.

'But the worry is she is getting caught up in the moment.'

Billie and Laurence, 28, have enjoyed a six-month romance since co-starring in a West End play. The couple got engaged in March.

The former singer and Doctor Who star married first husband DJ Chris Evans in May 2001 when she was still a teenager. They finalised their divorced this year.

'Billie's grown up a lot since then but we are worried she has not learnt from the experience,' the pal tells The People.

'No one wants to be divorced twice in their twenties.'
