Lady Gaga apparently removed her togs on a flight from Heathrow to avoid developing deep vein thrombosis.

The singer boarded a plane wearing a chevron striped yellow and black tape dress and Alexander McQueen blue Armadillo heels.

But cabin crew reportedly suggested she put on something else when her legs began to swell.

'GaGa was a high-risk DVT case so she was advised to change out of her clothes,' a source tells The Sun.

'But the outfit was so cumbersome she needed help changing out of it.

'She was particularly miffed about ditching her heels.'

Lady Gaga, 23, real name Stefani Germanotta, recently told Jonathan Ross she'd 'rather die' than be seen without heels.
