Twilight star talks about musical aspirations
Wednesday, 28 October 2009
Robert Pattinson plans to perform his own songs on stage.
But the actor - who plays vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight - doesn't really want to make a record.
‘I'm not particularly interested in releasing it, but I'd like to do some gigs,' says Robert, 23.
‘I guess the only way to do that is to get an album out.'
But Robert - who contributed two songs to the Twilight soundtrack - thinks he needs to brush up on his guitar skills.
‘I never manage more than five chords, I have to work on that,' he tells Australia's Daily Telegraph.
Robert will next be seen starring opposite Taylor Lautner, 17, in New Moon.
