Letting agents didnt want to renew his contract
Thursday, 27 August 2009
George Sampson has been asked to leave his central London flat.
The Britain’s Got Talent 2008 winner upset nearby residents with his loud music.
George blames his sisters for playing Les Miserables song On My Own to excess.
‘My neighbours were always complaining and when the contract expired the letting agents told me they didn't want me living there any more,’ says George, 16.
‘So I kind of got evicted. They actually wrote that they weren't going to extend the contract because of On My Own in particular.
‘My sisters love that song and were so Goddamn noisy when they came round.’
George is now staying at the Ibis Hotel while mum Lesley house-hunts.
‘I was bothered about being thrown out at first,’ he tells The Sun. 'But it was only a little flat and it was really expensive.
‘It means we could get a big house just out of London for the same money so that's the plan now.’
