Britain's Got Talent winner wants to star in films
Wednesday, 29 July 2009
George Sampson plans to pursue a career in movies.
The Britain’s Got Talent winner has already signed up for 3D film Street Dance, due out in 2010.
‘I like acting,' says George, 16. 'It's a real challenge. I'd like to do it full-time. I like film and TV more than stage.’
Meanwhile, George, who starred in West End show Into The Hoods last year, has criticised his hometown of Warrington, Cheshire.
‘I'm getting complaints at the moment about not getting back to my roots,’ he tells The Sun. ‘I've not been back to Warrington in months.
‘Why would I want to go there? It's boring, there's nothing to do. It's like a ghost town. All people do there is hang around outside shops.’

He needs a bit of Media Training, that's all. All he is doing is saying what he thinks, he's probably right, it's just his point of view, leave him alone!
