Official paper gives movie a positive review
Wednesday, 15 July 2009
The latest Harry Potter flick has won the praise of the Vatican.
The Half-Blood Prince - starring Daniel Radcliffe, 19 - received a favourable review in the church’s official newspaper for demonstrating the clear difference between good and evil.
Writing in the journal, Gaetano Vallini says the new instalment is ‘far more credible’ than the previous adaptions.
‘What remains are values such as friendship, altruism and loyalty,’ he writes.
The other movies in the franchise have been criticised by Christian groups in the past for apparently endorsing witchcraft.
