Zac Efron: I fancy my 36-year-old co-star

Zac Efron has a crush on his 17 Again co-star Leslie Mann – despite being 15 years her junior.

The High School Musical star plays the 36-year-old's on-screen husband in the movie.

Zac, 21, admits he was blown away by the chemistry he had with Leslie.

‘I was wondering at the beginning, how is this gonna work? How am I gonna...[fall for an older woman on-screen?]' Zac tells Elle.

'But by the end of the first rehearsal I had such a big crush on Leslie, I didn’t have to fake it. That made it very easy to do the kissing scene.'

Zac has been dating Vanessa Hudgens, 20, since 2006.

Leslie is married to director Judd Apatow, 41.

17 Again is out on 10 April.
