Lost star Evangeline Lilly to quit acting

Actress wants to focus on charity work

Actress Evangeline Lilly is dating her Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan

Evangeline Lilly will put her acting career on hold when Lost ends.

The star, 29, stars as plane crash survivor Kate Austen in the series.

'Before the show I intended to be a humanitarian worker,' she says. 'I’ll have more time to pursue that.'

But Evangeline hasn't ruled out returning to TV screens one day.

'The reality is when you open a door, there is no sense in closing it - so I would never say I’ll never act again,' she admits.

'But it’s definitely not my priority.'
