Ex-Liverpool footballer Jamie Redknapp nearly fainted during dinner with his dad on Saturday. 

The commentator and Harry, 61, were at San Carlo in Manchester when Jamie came over dizzy.

‘Jamie went down in a heap,’ an onlooker tells The Sun. ‘He just looked like he’d had a bit of a turn.

Jamie's spokeswoman confirmed he 'felt unwell after a bout of flu' but said he was now 'absolutely fine'.

Boxer Ricky Hatton, 30, who met Jamie for the first time that day, was at a nearby table.

But rumours he put Jamie in the recovery position and gave him first aid were unfounded.

Jamie, 35, was in the city to watch Manchester United play Chelsea.
