Duncan James needed the help of his friend to get rid of his ghost

Duncan James claims a ghost used to live in his home.

But the Blue singer managed to set the poltergeist free via a religious ritual.

‘I was told I had a spirit in my house of a man called Harry who’d hanged himself,’ Duncan, 30, tells Metro.

‘My mate came round with a Bible and holy water to do a mini exorcism. It seemed to get rid of him.’

Duncan stars in new Friday night C4 comedy series Plus One.

'I was approached with the script and it just made me laugh,' he explains. 'I thought it was a real piece of comedy genius and I just wanted to be a part of it.'
