Teenager with 'no fear' is runner-up to Alexandra Burke and JLS

Eoghan Quigg came 3rd on The X Factor last night.
He gave a brilliant performance on stage with Boyzone but won a smaller share of the viewers' votes than Alexandra Burke and JLS.
The 16-year-old schoolboy from Dungiven, in Northern Ireland, is 'best pals' with Diana Vickers, 17, from Blackburn, who was eliminated in last week's X Factor semi-final. They intend to continue their close friendship.
'I’m going to Blackburn to spend time with her and she’ll be coming to Dungiven,' Eoghan says. 'My family have met her and think she’s lovely.'

After Eoghan was told he was not in the last two acts, the phone lines were opened again so that JLS and Alexandra Burke fans could continue voting.
