Alexandra Burke: I dropped 3 dress sizes between X Factor auditions

The singer talks about her weight worries

Alexandra has made it through to the semi finals of The X Factor

Alexandra Burke has revealed that she worries constantly about putting on weight.

The 20-year-old X Factor finalist has slimmed down 3 dress sizes – from a 12-14 to an 8-10 since she first tried out for the show 3 years ago.

‘I worry about it a lot,’ she reveals.

Now a slim 9½st, the 5ft 4in singer is determined to keep the weight off.

‘Last time I was on the show I was a bigger girl, so I’m trying not to let that get to me. If you’re not healthy, you send the wrong image to young girls,’ she tells Now.

But it doesn't mean she won't treat herself. ‘I like McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets and chips,’ she says.
