Robbie Williams says he contemplated knifing himself when he was on LSD.

The singer was 16 when he had his first acid trip.

‘American footballs were coming out of the TV,’ he writes on his blog. ‘So I decided to go downstairs and stab myself.

'Mum came out of her room and said, “What are you doing?”

‘“I’m just going downstairs to stab myself – do you want a cup of tea?” I said.’

Robbie, 34, has been in rehab twice.
