Singer wants to be in the audience

Dermot O'Leary hosts The X Factor

Amy Winehouse is so desperate to attend The X Factor live shows that she's been hounding presenter Dermot O'Leary for tickets.

The singer has already phoned up contestant Eoghan Quigg to offer him advice.

And now she wants to be in the audience.

‘The other day I was on the phone to Russell Brand and he suddenly hands it over to Amy - who asks for tickets!' Dermot says. 'But I didn’t have any to give her.’

Meanwhile, Eoghan, 16, has expressed his surprise at Amy's call.

‘I was talking to Amy Winehouse,’ he tells the Daily Star. ‘It was weird, but cool!’
