Daniel Radcliffe: It will be weird leaving Harry Potter behind

Actor says he’ll be sad to complete final movie

Friday, 21 November 2008

Daniel Radcliffe thinks he’ll be in tears when he finishes filming the last Harry Potter movie.

The actor will start recording The Deathly Hallows in February.

‘I will certainly be coming up to 21 by the time we finish shooting and that will be almost 10 years of my life playing Harry Potter,’ he says.

‘It’s going to be very emotional, very strange on the last day of filming.’

Dan, 19, says he’ll struggle to shake off the character.

‘It’s going to be strange because every scene, in every film, will always be linked to a memory.

'Whether it’s my first kiss of whatever it was, I will never be able to separate them from everything about my formative years,’ he tells the Daily Mail.

‘It’s going to be kind of weird suddenly leaving it all behind.’
