Actor enjoys Italian meal with his High School Musical co-star, family and friends

Zac Efron turned 21 on Saturday and rather than throw a wild bash, he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens decided to host a dinner party at LA's Pace restaurant.
Friends and family joined the pair at the Italian eatery in Laurel Canyon, Hollywood for a 'rustic' spread of pizza, pasta and seafood, with a restrained after-party at a nearby hotel.
Vanessa, 19, and High School Musical 3: Senior Year co-stars Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman amd KayCee Stroh were among the revellers.
The birthday boy is now legally allowed to drink alcohol in the US so a few of his guests presented him with gift-wrapped booze. Others had more practical ideas.
‘I’m going to get him tinted windows,’ KayCee Strohtells People.com. ‘That's what I gave Miley Cyrus for her birthday and he's getting them too.'
High School Musical 3: Senior Year is released 24 October.
