Vanessa Hudgens: Zac Efron wasn't attacked by fan – I was!

Actress says she was injured in London

Vanessa Hudgens has revealed that she was left bleeding after being involved in a scuffle last week.

It was reported that boyfriend Zac Efron was attacked by a middle-aged fan as he left the Apollo Theatre in London.

But Vanessa says the press got it wrong.

‘I actually got hit in the face!’ she tells Access Hollywood.

‘If anything, I was the one who got attacked, not Zac. There was a guy who was walking down the street and I think he was a little drunk and he got pushed into the craziness of it all.

‘He was blocking the door so our bodyguard had to push him aside. I looked in the mirror and got a huge scratch and I was bleeding.’

Vanessa, 19, and Zac, 20, star in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, to be released later this month.
