Arlene Phillips says she'd love surgery but is scared about going under the knife

Arlene Phillips has revealed that she worries constantly about her weight.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 64, says she's piled on the pounds in the past year.

‘I want to be slim, I want to be gorgeous. I've put on a stone and a half since the last series.

'It's on my tummy. I want a gastric band, but I don't like needles or knives, so what's a woman to do?'

But the former dancer says she'd never have Botox and the obsession with looking young scares her.

'We’re in a world of plasticity,’ she tells The Sun.

Strictly Come Dancing is on Saturdays on BBC1.
