Australian actress crawled from the wreckage

Shia LaBeouf 's passenger was his Transformers 2 co-star Isabel Lucas

Shia LaBeouf’s Transformers 2 co-star Isabel Lucas was a passenger in his truck when it crashed.

The actor was arrested for suspected drink driving in the early hours of Sunday morning, shortly after leaving an LA nightclub.

Isabel, 23, was forced to crawl from the upturned car after it collided with another vehicle and flipped over twice.

No one was seriously injured but Shia, 22, had to have hand surgery and is recovering in hospital.

'He is doing really well,’ his mum tells Us Weekly. ‘Thank you so much for asking.’

It is thought the pair had been to see a band at the Troubadour club in LA.
