Britain’s Got Talent winner says his father is only interested now he's famous

George Sampson has hit back at his dad’s efforts to reconnect with him now he's a star.
The Britain’s Got Talent winner is convinced Brian Sampson is only interested in his fame and money.
‘He didn’t want to be part of my life before,’ he says. ‘I used to send him tickets to my shows, but he never came.’
Brian, 40, complained at the weekend that he wasn't able to see George at his 15th birthday party concert. But the breakdancer says he doesn't care.
‘He showed his face,’ he says. ‘It was a public party so I couldn’t stop him – but I can’t be bothered with him.’
Brian split from wife Lesley, 39, when George was just 10.

George, my dad left me when i was 5 i saw him once afterwards but that was it. One time he sent me a birthday card saying thank you for you letter [i had written a letter and sent it through the CSA] and that was it. I had believed so much that he would come and see me and when he didn't it was a real knock to my confiedence. I'm glad that hasn't happened to you.I love singing and dancing and your so inspiratinal i've decided to form a band, but havent started yet.CARRY ON DANCING AND SINGING! i LOVE YOU! xx
