Britain's Got Talent winner's estranged dad says he's determined to see his son
Wednesday, 2 July 2008
George Sampson’s dad Brian says he's so determined to have contact with his son that he's joined civil rights group Fathers For Justice.
The 40-year-old has hardly seen the Britain’s Got Talent winner since he left the family 6 years ago.
‘It's cruel that women can just stop dads seeing their kids whenever they choose,’ he says.
‘I’m now with Fathers For Justice. I'm not going to dress up as Robin or Batman and stand on the roof. But I support what they're doing because of my situation with George.’
Brain says he was barred from going to watch 15-year-old's George’s winning performance.
‘I was in tears during the final of Britain’s Got Talent,’ he tells Daily Star Sunday.
‘I miss George’s smiling face. Only being able to watch the son you adore on TV is heartbreaking.
‘I'm not interested in his money or his fame. I just want to be part of my son’s life, to care for him and be a good dad.’

no offence but i dont think so
I know George Sampson and his dad hasnt even bothered with him before he vame onto BGT. I dont even think hes bothered about Rosie and Luke eather only George!
why didnt he do this ages ago?!
Georgia - many mothers try to give the immpression that a child's father isn';'t bothered abou them. They tell all kinds of lies in order to alienate teh child from their father (known as parental alienation syndrome). Just becasue a father hasn't seen his kids doesn't mean he doesn't want to - it is often dueto the mother doing all she can to stop contact from taking place.
@S - "why didnt he do this ages ago?!" More to the point - does George want to see his Dad?
