Here's how to make your page stand out
Saturday, 28 April 2007
OK, so you’ve just signed up to MySpace and you wonder how everyone else’s page looks amazing and yours just looks boring.
There are hundreds of ways to customise your page and it’s easy when you know how.
To make your website looking great, you can change your layout, add cursors, pictures and music – and much more.
But here’s our simple guide to change your page layout:
1) Type into Google ‘MySpace layouts’. Search through a number of websites to find a layout that you would like for your MySpace Page (this may take you a while but we recommend ‘Pimp-my-profile’).
2) Once you've chosen your layout, highlight the html code (layout code), and copy it.
3) Go back into your homepage at MySpace.
4) Click ‘edit profile’ and paste the text into ‘About me’ (this will not delete what you have written about yourself).
5) Don’t forget to click save ‘Save changes’.
6) Go back into your homepage and click 'View my profile'.
Your profile now should have changed to the new layout.
And it’s that simple! To add anything new to your page, copy the code and place it anywhere into ‘Edit Profile’.
