Rihanna shows off her latest body art hours after joining Jay-Z and Coldplay on stage in London

When eagle-eyed fans spotted new artwork on Rihanna’s ribcage at the Paralympics Closing Ceremony, the singer took to Twitter to end speculation and show off her new tattoo.

Ri-Ri, 24, re-Tweeted comments from her followers guessing the meaning of the large design which sits just below her breasts.

‘”The tattoo means a lot to Rihanna. It’s something to keep her grandma’s memory alive.” YOU’s be knowing gra! #dolly,’ re-Tweeted the We Found Love singer.

Ri-Ri later posted her own snap confirming her new ink is dedicated to her late grandmother who passed away less than three months ago.

Rihanna loves getting inked and her tally of tattoos is well into double figures.

The latest design shows the Egyptian goddess of rebirth and is commonly considered a powerful symbol of femininity.

Goddess Isis- Complete Woman – Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY – always in and on my heart #1lo,’ Tweeted Ri-Ri.
