Susan Boyle has received the first instalment of royalties from her best-selling debut album - and it amounts to a whopping £4million.
The payout from Syco record label bosses coincides with the Britain's Got Talent star's 49th birthday today.
Susan had a double celebration party yesterday in Japan, where she is on tour.
She was joined by hundreds of fans who'd flown from across the globe for a bash in the penthouse suite of Tokyo's tallest building.
Guests wore red scarves and specially-made badges in her honour and presented Susan with a cake featuring her album cover on it.
‘I had a wonderful afternoon,' she says. ‘These people are fantastic. They have come all the way from America, Australia, UK and Japan. This is why I am able to do what I do - because of their support and love.'
Susan's album I Dreamed A Dream has sold more than 8.5million copies worldwide since being released in November.
