Jennifer Aniston's relationship with John Mayer takes another turn

Jennifer Aniston is seemingly keener than ever on John Mayer, but what she doesn’t know is that she’s not the only back-on-again relationship in his life.

As Now revealed last week, the 40-year-old actress can’t resist reuniting with John for clandestine sex sessions.

But she’ll be devastated to learn that John, 31, has been doing the dirty on her with his former lover Jessica Simpson, 29, who split with American footballer Tony Romo in July.

‘Jess has really fallen for him again – and desperately hopes they’ll end up getting back together,’ says our source.

‘John’s a silver-tongued devil. He knows how to weasel his way into a girl’s heart.’

This latest revelation is likely to spell heartache for the unlucky-in-love Jen, who’s heard repeated warnings from pals who fear she’ll get hurt again.

‘John may have a bad reputation with women, but Jen sees him as a really gentle guy who’s pretty much had the key to her heart since they first got together,’ says our source.

Gerard's still in the frame

Whether or not Jennifer is trying to rekindle her relationship with John, Gerard Butler won’t give up.

The Scottish hunk was spotted on a dinner date with Jen at Cliff’s Edge restaurant in LA’s Silverlake area on Wednesday night and onlookers said the couple were very affectionate.

They left separately, with Jen trying to avoid photographers.
